Jeff Hearty joined the Knights of Columbus in 1980. In 1986, he began working with the Knights of Columbus and became a successful field agent. He has served as general agent in the state of Ohio since 2001. He has also attained the professional designation of Fraternal Insurance Counselor - Fellow (FICF). He was the Kurwin Award Winner 1992 (awarded to the number one agent in Ohio). Graduated from Walsh University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with a major in accounting. As well as being a 4th Degree Sir Knight, he has also taken an active part in new council development and is an active member in the Garfield Heights Council. He has been married to his wife, Alma, since 1987. They have two children, David and Luke.

Professional Experience: Robert brings to the Knights of Columbus extensive experience in the financial services industry in a variety of roles centered around financial goal setting. In his role as a branch investments representative, he worked with many clients in person and over the phone. Together with his clients, Robert tackled issues such as estate planning, trusts, charitable giving and retirement income planning. He has a personal interest in small business retirement planning involving SEP IRAs, SIMPLE Plans, and solo 401ks.
Investment Philosophy: Performing needs analysis for assigned members and recommending appropriate products to meet those needs. Work with the client to help them visualize their individual short term and long term goals. Educate them about tailored strategies, unique to each client scenario.

Professional Experience: Zach has worked with the Knights of Columbus as a successful field agent since 2007. It is his responsibility to make sure that our member feel secure with the plans that they have made to provide for their families, especially in times of hardship.
Education
Graduated from Creighton University, Omaha NE, in 2006 with a BA in Communication and Theology.

Fraternally: Zach is very involved in his council’s development, he works hard towards the success of their membership and is a member of his degree team at Wickliffe Council 5405. He volunteers at his parish youth group and enjoys participating in the FEST, and St. Helen’s Men’s renewal.
Personal: Zach is married to his amazing wife Maureen who is a family nurse practitioner working at University Hospitals and the Minute Clinic/CVS. They have a cute little toddler named Teddy who enjoys singing at Church, even during the homily.
